The designation “table grapes” refers to those grape varieties consumed while fresh, in contrast to grapes grown for wine production, must, or for drying into raisins.
Red Globe clusters remain well-preserved on the vine, large and loose, with an average weight of about 800 grams, long and slender peduncles, providing greater cluster looseness. The berries are characterized by easy detachment, seeded (with seeds), ranging from large to exceptionally large, from 24 to 32 mm, with a simple taste, medium to thick skin, and a firm, slightly juicy pulp. These grapes are highly suitable for cold storage and tolerate transportation well.
Table grapes are consumed directly and not used for the production of other food alternatives, such as wine, must, or pisco. Generally, they have lower sugar content than wine grapes and are more flavorful.
Consuming Red Globe grapes also benefits health. They are detoxifying, good for the kidneys as they help eliminate uric acid due to their diuretic properties. They improve vasodilation and reduce the risk of thrombosis. They promote the good condition of arteries and the heart.
